If I need to access another generic email account for my work, what should I do? (Staff/Faculty)

The owner of the mailbox, need to request for the access rights to be granted to you, he/she can drop an email to our IT help centre at helpdesk@smu.edu.sg with the following info:-

  1. Email accounts  :  (provide the generic email account that you would like to access)
  2. Applicant: ( fill in your full name )
  3. User: (provide your smu userid)
  4. Duration of access e.g. Permanent or Temp , plse provide Start/End Date):
  5. Approval by: ( provide name of approval and attached the approval email)
  6. Reason for Application:
  7. Allow user to send mail ‘on behalf of’ or ‘send as’ the requested mailbox:
  8. Access Rights (Read/Full access) required to this account :
