Assumption - there are two selected groups and both answer the same set of questions. Is there a feature where the quota is met for one group is met, to close that whilst remaining open for other group to remain open? (Example if in a survey I have a question "What is your gender?" and I am suppose to collect 50 responses from male and 50 responses for female, if the male responses hit 50 but female responses still at 40, how can we closed this survey for male particpant and still kept open for female participant.)
The tip is to use Skip Login or Survey Flow for controlling the logic. Eg. You can close the survey for Male/Female by using the skip logic or survey flow. Firstly, set up the quota for Male and Female (Do not add in any action in the quote set) .In survey flow setup a branch (you can also use skip logic) to specify that if the Male quota was met and when Male was selected on the gender question then End Survey. This will cause the survey to be terminated once quote reached and male is selected. -
How to create Descriptive text ? (We can use the Text/Graphic question type but if we want to display "Show Export Tags" for the survey, the "Text/Graphic" it will also displayed the "Tag" the page will not look nice.)
The Text/Graphic is seen by the system as a question, so unfortunately for now, it will display the export tag when you select that option. The only other option right now is to enter manually into the question text any numbering you want to display during the survey. -
Is there choice options of Calendar?
There is no calendar option but you can use open-text question type and specify date validation. -
Is there a way to download our own survey questions (example into excel)?
If you go to View Results -> Download Data, you can download the raw data into Excel, but the survey questions themselves do not export into Excel. There is a Print Survey feature on the Edit Survey page, which can be used to print a survey to pdf. -
If I created 100 questions with "Export Tags" of 1 to 100, when I deleted question 50 can the system automatically update the remaining tags from 51 - 100 to 50 - 99?
The system does not update the export tags automatically. -
Whenever we create a question with regards to "Gender" the system automatically put in "Male" and "Female" as the choices, can this automation be removed?
The automation can be turned off to the right of the question by unchecking the "Automatic Choices" option. -
How may I take over the control on a survey that were created by my RA?
Unfortunately, you cannot. The person who first started the survey can share and copy the survey as he/she is the "owner". If you do want to reuse the survey, it is best that faculty create the survey first and share it to the RAs for completion. -
I have unfortunately created a limited trial account with Qualtrics directly. How may I move the surveys created under the trial account to the SMU Qualtrics account?
Foremost, you must create an SMU Qualtrics Account (via this site). Collaborate or share each required survey to your SMU Qualtrics Account. -
What are the templates I can use from Qualtrics?
The Qualtrics package comes with a standard SMU survey template. Users may also choose the blank template (without any logos) for a pristine survey look and feel. Users with a need for customised survey "look and feel" may request for additional templates at a cost of US$200 for each template.
