What is the Web Conferencing service?

Also known as : Zoom, Online Meeting, Remote Interview

This tool supports synchronous communications via web. Participants of meeting/training session can join the web session via their mobile devices. Host has to conduct the session from PC or Laptop. This tool can be used for online teaching during pandemic/disaster, when physical interaction in a classroom setting is not possible. Zoom can also be used for research collaboration, briefings and online meetings.

Specification

This Solution is mainly offered to the members of Faculty , Staff and Students.

This tool supports: Video & Audio Comunications, Text Chats, Screen Sharings and Recording of meeting/training session. It can run from both Windows and Mac machines.

Terms of Use

Only members of the faculty or staff can organize an online session. Students or external parties can be attendees of an online session and given temporary presenter rights.
