MediaWiki is the wiki platform offered in SMU. Instructor can request for a new Wiki space for a course in each school term. Instructor and students can both write and update in this collaborative space with a mark-up language.

MediaWiki can be accessed from both Windows and Mac machines.

Terms of Use
Users of the above Wiki service are to take note of the following Terms of Use, as well as the SMU Terms of Use as listed here.
- New Wiki Space requests shall be made at least 3 working days in advance.
- Only members of the faculty can request for a new Wiki space, students cannot request for a Wiki space on their own.
- Wikis can only be edited by faculty, staff or students in SMU. Public viewing access is configurable.
