[Site Content] How to rename a file within your SharePoint site

1. Click on 'Settings' and then select 'Site Contents'.

2. Click on 'show actions' and select 'Rename' .

3. Enter your new name and select 'Rename'.

(Note: If you are renaming your site page, it WILL change the URL of the site page. For e.g. from smu.sharepoint.com/sites/xxx/SitePages/example.aspx to smu.sharepoint.com/sites/xxx/SitePages/example2.aspx)
